LOCAL WRITERS OPEN MIKE WILL FEATURE Judy Zhu

In honor of Chinese New Year the Writer’s Open Mike in Monterey County will feature Professor Judy Zhu,to be the guest reader/speaker on Thursday, January 19th.

At this event, Judy will first talk about her English book Modern Chinese Cultural Encounter, and then read a story she recently wrote about Chinese New Year Celebration.

This event is free and open to the public. You are invited to come and enjoy learning about Chinese culture. You may also sign up for a five to seven minute reading on Chinese culture from any genre: prose, screenplay, poetry & essay that follows 15-20 minutes from the featured guest speaker (Judy Zhu), if there is a slot available. More information is as below:
